Overview

This course walks you through the steps of the fuselage skin assembly project. Walking through the steps before you perform them lets you know what to expect when you get to the hands-on portion of your training.

By the end of this course, you will be able to

• Set up the fuselage skin assembly project on the jig
• Set up the drill motor and drill holes in the skin panels
• Install the doubler on the skin panel and drill holes in the doubler
• Countersink holes in the skin assembly
• Drill the final holes and deburr the holes
• Take the assembly apart, clean it, and then reassemble it
• Install Hi-Loks
• Install flush head rivets
• Remove rivets from the assembly
