Overview

There are a number of engineering documents needed for a wire bundle installation. This course will help you to understand how to recognize and interpret several types of engineering drawings. You will also be introduced to the types of paperwork used during the installation of wire bundles on an airplane, as well as electrical production illustrations.

By the end of this course, you will be able to

• List the main areas of an engineering drawing
• Define the different engineering drawing views
• Understand the module, its numbering system, and parts list
• Understand how to use an installation plan on a shop floor
• List the sections of an electrical production illustration drawing
• Read an electrical production illustration drawing
