Overview
An airplane is a complex piece of machinery. If it is assembled incorrectly, it can put passengers’ lives on the line. This course describes the paperwork used to assemble an airplane and the role of paperwork in regulating the aviation industry. This course also describes the production orders and installation plans used during manufacturing aircraft.
By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Understand the role of paperwork in airplane regulations
- Define production orders
- List how production orders are used to produce detailed parts and assemblies
- Describe the installation plan
