Overview
Quality is a term that’s mentioned often, but what does it really mean? In this course, you will learn the definitions of quality, customer, and expectations, and how quality management helps companies meet their expectations.
By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Define quality, customer, expectations, and quality management systems
- Give examples of how customers and companies benefit from quality systems
- Describe the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
- Describe the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle as applied to ISO standards
- Define standards, technical standards, and standards organizations
- Learn how quality organizations are integrated into the structure of a company and how the organization fulfills its purpose
- Learn about some of the basic roles within the quality assurance department and the responsibilities they must fulfill
