Overview
In this course, you will learn about the analyze portion of the DMAIC continuous improvement model. Before any problem can be eliminated or controlled, the cause of the problem must be identified and confirmed. In this course, you will learn how Six Sigma teams use statistical tools to perform an analysis of data to identify and confirm the variable that causes most variation in a process or product.
By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Create and interpret multi-vari studies
- Understand the differences between positional, cyclical, and temporal variation
- Understand some common terms and concepts in all hypotheses tests
- Calculate confidence intervals from sample data
- Identify different types of hypotheses tests
- Explain which test to use based on the statistical parameter being tested, and the available information from the sample data
