Overview
Statistical Process Control, or SPC, is a quality control methodology that uses statistics to predict variation in processes. This course covers control chart analysis, process capability, problem solving tools, and problem solving.
By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Explain the eight basic control chart tests
- Analyze the averages chart and the range chart
- Calculate process capability
- Calculate the process capability index
- Define and explain the seven basic quality tools
- Create a cause-and-effect diagram, check sheet, histogram, pareto chart, and basic graphs
- Explain the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle
